# Sunbird adds Shenzhen Yisheng precision injection molding

Chengdu Beiji and Sunbird Manufacturing now include Shenzhen Yisheng Plastic Technology. Combined headcount is about 100 people. Molding is in-house.

Sunbird Manufacturing, the US commercial face of Chengdu Beiji Precision Machinery, has added Shenzhen Yisheng Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. to the group.

Yisheng is a precision injection-molding and mold shop in Shenzhen. About 25-30 people work there. Combined with Chengdu Beiji, the group is about 100 people.

## What Yisheng adds, in house

- 20 injection presses, 50 T to 180 T. JSW and Sumitomo in the 100-180 T class, plus 50 T vertical and horizontal machines
- Mold design and build: 3D design, mold-flow, hot-runner, 1K/2K and overmolding tools. About 15 mold sets a month. Typical mold cycle 25-30 days
- Overmolding and insert molding for automotive, motor, and industrial hardware
- Engineering thermoplastics including PEEK, PEI, PPS, and LCP
- Inspection: CMM, CCD, microscope, tensile, salt spray, climate chamber
- Certifications: IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, GB/T 45001-2018

Parts already in production at Yisheng include connectors and high-voltage connectors, solenoid valve bodies, motor housings, overmolded hardware, and related boxes and covers.

## What does not change

Chengdu Beiji remains the CNC machining, fabrication, welding, and joining shop in Chengdu. It is ISO 9001 certified with AI-augmented and optimized QA. Sunbird still quotes from the US. Drawings stay confidential. DDP is available over 25 kg.

Plastic injection molding sat in the partner network. It is now a Sunbird offering: design the tool, cut the tool, mold the part, ship with the Chengdu work.

We do not publish a customer list or hyperscaler design wins on this announcement.
