Meet the team

The Chengdu Beiji team is led by Ed Hoots in the city of Chengdu, in Sichuan province. Ed is originally from Seattle, but has been living, and working in China for the past 12 years.

He has an AS Degree in Machining processes, and 45 years experience in the machining and fabrication industry. 30 of those years were spent specializing in creating machined components for the Aerospace and Aviation industry.

Ed discovered that finding trustworthy, timely machining services in China could be high risk, and of varying quality. So in 2015 he opened Chengdu Beiji Precision Machining – to provide European, Australian, and American manufacturers with high precision machined parts.
